-A two pack abrasion resistant epoxy fast drying anticorrosive intermediate coating giving excellent long term anticorrosive protection.

-Suitable for application at low temperature

Surface Preparation

All surfaces to be coated should be clean, dry and free from contamination.

 

   Primed Surfaces

 

The primer surface should be dry free from all contamination and 725-H53-82 must be applied within the overcoating intervals specified (consult the relevant product data sheet).

 

Areas of breakdown, damage etc., should be prepared to the specified standard (e.gSa2½GB/T 8923.1-2011or Abrasive Blasting, or Power Tool Cleaning) and patch primed prior to the application of 725-H53-82.

 

   Metallic Zinc Primed Surfaces

 

Ensure that surface of the primer is clean, dry and free from contamination and zinc salts before application of 725-H53-82. Ensure zinc primers are fully cured before overcoating.

 

Repair

 

The areas to be repaired should be cleaned to St3GB/T 8923.1-2011by  mechanical method or higher level of surface prepared to Sa2.5GB/T 8923.1-2011by abrasive blasting. Abrade the area immediately surrounding the repair to provide a key for subsequent coating application. Overlap areas should be kept to a minimum.

 

 

 

 

 

Limitations

 

For maximum performance ambient curing temperature should be above 5℃

 

In common with all epoxy base coatings, 725-H53-82 will exhibit chalking of the firm on UV exposure.

 

Apply in good weather. Temperature of the surface to be coated must be least 3℃ above the dew point when the humidity is lower than 85%.

 

The dry time and overcoating interval may change according to the environment factors.

 

Avoiding absorb the solvent steam and paint steam for long time. Skin and eyes must avoid contacting the paint. Pay attention to ventilate and fireproof when applying.
